INGREDIENTS:

Phyllantus Amaraus – 150mg

Sida Acuta extracts -150mg

Pycanthus Angolensis -100mg

 

Phyllanthus Amarus : Possesses hepatoprotective(Liver Protective) ,anti-inflammatory, anticancer/anti-tumor, antiviral and anti-bacterial properties.This plant also possesses diuretic and anti-hypercholesterolemic properties.

 

Sida Acuta: Is a potent medicinal plant with aphrodisiac, antirheumatic, stomachic and wound healing properties. It does help regulate hormones and has  anti-inflammatory properties. Its root has phenolic compounds and ferulic acid which help protect the liver from free radicals damage.

 

Pycanthus Angolensis :

The bark contains dihydroguaiaretic acid, which has shown non-selective toxicity towards several human tumour cell lines. Extracts of the bark have shown the presence of flavonoids, tannins and saponin glycosides, which might be responsible for its biological activities. The plant has some hypoglycemic benefits. It has antibiotic, antifungal properties  and does improve fertility in women.

 

DOSAGE FORM :

Take 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules in the evening (10-30 mins before meal)

 

PRESCRIPTION GUIDE:

 

OVARIAN CYST TREATMENT:

Recommendation :6 bottles of LaxTup capsules taken 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules evening ( 10-30 mins before meal ) for 60 days.

LaxTup Capsules can shrink Ovarian cyst between 2-8cm within 2 months of treatment .

Is important to have a pelvic ultrasound scan report not older than 1 month before commencing treatment as this will give a closer measurement prior treatment commencement.

A repeat of pelvic scan is recommended after 8 weeks of treatment commencement to assess the treatment progress.

A repeat of abdominopelvic ultrasound scan is recommended after first 8 weeks of medication to  assess the treatment response. If there is reduction >2cm/20mm is indicative of good prognosis. Note that this product does not work for dermoid cyst, hence we recommend surgery for such type of cyst then treatment can be embarked to prevent recurrence.

 

 

FIBROID TREATMENT:

Recommendation:6 bottles of LaxTup capsules taken 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules evening ( 10-30 mins before meal ) for 60 days.

LaxTup Capsules  can shrink non calcified fibroid between 2-6 cm within 2 months treatment course. Is important to have a pelvic ultrasound scan report not older than 1 month before commencing treatment as this will give a closer measurement prior treatment commencement.

A repeat of pelvic scan is recommended after 8 weeks of treatment commencement to assess the treatment progress.

*Calcified type of fibroid( fibroid that has stony nature) do not respond to medical treatment and the best solution is surgery. Big fibroid especially larger than 7cm may have poor response and may not  respond  to medication in some cases due to the large thickness of its tissues .

* Some patients with Fibroid may experience colicky abdominal pains due to the  degeneration  of the fibroid tissues during treatment . This may be accompanied with prolonged period in rare cases which may last up to 14 days during the medication as a result of fibroid degeneration or endometrial sheddings in patients with endometriosis or endometrial hyperplasia.

 

ENDOMETRITIS/ENDOMETRIOSIS:

Recommendation :6 bottles of LaxTup capsules taken 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules in the evening (10-30 mins before meal for 60 days).A preliminary abdominopelvic ultrasound scan is recommended before starting treatment and a repeat of the scan after  8 weeks of treatment to assess treatment response. A good percentage of clients diagnosed with endometriosis /endometritis respond well to treatment . However some cases of endometriosis do not resolve, especially when the tissues of the womb (endometrial tissues) have markedly profilierated  beyond the cervix and Fallopian tubes . This could prompt surgical excisions and post surgical treatment with laxtup capsules is recommended . Note :untreated endometriosis can extend towards the tubes and cause permanent tubal adhesions which cannot be medically treated.

 

MENSTRUAL IRREGULARITIES /SEIZED PERIOD OR SECONDARY AMENORRHEA:

Recommendation: 4 Bottles of LaxTup Capsules taken 3  in the morning and 3 Capsules in the evening (10-30 mins before meal) for 40 days. Allow up to 4 weeks post medication for menses to flow in a case of seized period .

 

TUBAL BLOCKAGE:

Recommendation :4 Bottles of LaxTup Capsules taken 3  in the morning and 3 Capsules in the evening (10-30 mins before meal) for 40 days.

*Avoid sex for the first 30 days of the treatment to ensure better cleansing of the tubes before conception and to avoid ectopic pregnancy OR miscarriage. Consequently, target having sex from day 9th to 15th of your period for every 2 days. That’s day 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th you have sex. Day one is the first day period started. Ensure your man has done semen analysis to rule out low sperm count /low motility count.

* This drug cannot remove Fallopian tube blockage caused by past surgical bands and adhesions as  well as adhesions caused by surgical instrumentations like hsg scan, laparoscopic surgery or old scarification tissues caused by untreated chronic pid. Clients with bilateral tubal blockage due to surgical adhesions are candidates for ivf. This can be a case when a woman has received full treatment for more than 4 months and no conception takes place in the presence of normal sperm count and motility count and regular sexual intercourse being practiced.

 

HIGH PROLACTIN (BREAST MILK DISCHARGE) :

Recommendation: 4 Bottles of LaxTup Capsules taken 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules in the evening ( 10-30 mins before meal ) for 40 days.

*Avoid frequent examination of the breasts to express fluid.

*Avoid sucking of the breasts by your partner as these practices can worsen the condition.

N/B:Breast examination should be done 3-4 weekly interval after commencing treatment to assess treatment response.

 

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:

 

-LaxTup Capsule is For Adult Use Only

-Avoid treatment once pregnancy is achieved as this may induce another menstruation and could trigger miscariage. However we have no clinical studies about it’s abortifacient action.

– Do not take LaxTup capsules with folic acid, vitamin supplements or hematinics (Blood capsules) as well as other products not recommended by your physician. Combining this product with folic acid may cause delayed /missed period .

– Avoid the use of milk, coconut during medication period.

– Avoid high sugar drinks and alcoholic drinks .

– Avoid consumption of Native chalk/White chalk ( NZU in Ibo)

– For fibroid cases, is advised to reduce the intake of carbohydrate rich foods such as rice and to avoid white bread .

-Avoid fatty foods if you have fibroid .

 

SIDE EFFECTS:

• May cause headache/sleepiness if overdosed(> 4 capsules in a dose)
• There could be colicky abdominal pain in some patients with fibroid /ovarian cyst due to the degeneration processes of the fibroid tissues and shrinking of cyst .
• There could be prolonged period up to 14 days which rarely occurs in some fibroid patients due to the degeneration of fibroid tissues.
• There could be increased urinary frequency for the first 3-7 days of the treatment due to its detoxification properties

 

 

SIGNS THE MEDICINE IS WORKING :

 

-For fibroid and ovarian cyst, treatment response is monitored through a repeated abdominopelvic ultrasound scan after the first 8 weeks of medication.

• A reduction in the size of Ovarian cyst more than 4cm within 8 weeks treatment course is an indication of good prognosis. A reduction in the size of fibroid more than 2cm within 8 weeks treatment course is an indication of good treatment prognosis.
• Patients with fibroid may experience brownish/bloody discharge with or without clots during OR before period.
• Patients with ovarian cyst or hydrosalpinx may experience watery,brownish / bloody vaginal discharge during or before period.
